Love all these recommendations Jo, and good to see ‘You are here’ on the list. I’ve not read it yet and missed out on my signed copy at the Winchester Book Festival because my lift needed to get home. But persuaded my book group to add it to the list so will be reading it soon. It was lovely to finally bump into you there.
I loved reading about The Good Stuff in your life. It's inspiring me to write something this morning about where we place most of our attention—on international news or freshly plastered walls? I need to do more of the latter.
Thank you so much, Bree! You've put it so eloquently and much better than I did. I agree, it's about where our attention goes. I'm looking forward to reading what you've created.
And thank you for writing Grandpa Mornings in the first place. I would love to say I've been sticking to those good habits so far this year but, alas. Maybe February, as the mornings get lighter, will make such things a little easier!

Have you read YAH yet, Lesley? Such a shame you missed the signing but at least you made it to the main event.
And YES, so lovely to finally meet IRL!
Are you doing any other WBF events? I’ve got tickets for the fiction four events on the Friday and the Bookclub on Sunday with Claire Fuller
It’s next on my list ☺️

Thanks for sharing Grandpa Mornings, too :)

Yes yes yes, here for all the good stuff! Happy to hear your Maurie’s cherry is popped and see the fresh new walls (how has it been 9 months?!)
Excellent to hear! Hoping I can keep this little series up!
